"The story behind the guides"
Kevin Fichtner first travelled and worked in Europe at 19 and returned independently several times throughout his twenties. Years later, his daughter undertook her own solo trip through Europe in her mid-twenties. Her experience — including relying heavily on buses between cities — added a second-generation perspective to the practical questions first-time travellers face today.
